Well, that's what its been. I fired up the torch early this morning in anticipation of making a new set of beads, and I really may as well not have bothered. Everything I made ended up in my water jar, except for about 5 beads which I'm still not exactly over the moon about. All up, I made about 20 beads that ended up looking like a dog's breakfast. At 3.30 pm, I shut the torch off and gave up in total exasperation.
GRRRR... I hate days like this. I generally only have the weekends to torch nowadays so the time I have to make beads is precious, and when everything goes wrong, I feel like finding a cliff and throwing myself off. I guess tomorrow's another day, and I have a few other ideas I want to try, so hopefully things will go better.
So, assuming I have a more fruitful day tomorrow, I may have something new to offer you on Monday. At least I'm hoping that's the way it goes!
